North East Assemblies was established in july 1995 by John Smith who saw a niche market in which to offer component assembly to a range of manufacturers.

Taking components from customers, putting them together and sending them back for the next stage of production for delivery to the end user was how the business started

The company soon added another string to its bow as it began to install machinery and produce machine turned parts.

We now supply a wide range of turned parts to companies operating in diverse industries e.g. construction, white goods, filter products, bearing manufacturers and the automotive industry.

As the company's reputation grew so did the customer base and large volume orders increased

North East Assemblies is firmly established in the North East of England as a leading high volume manufacturer of CNC machine turned components.

In relatively few years the company has grown from a small machining operation in to a company using the latest CNC sliding head technology giving us the ability to work with a wide range of material i.e. Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper, Brass, Plastics and Duplex, producing sophisticated, high precision turned parts to the tightest levels of tolerance with repeatability.
